These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Gardenda’s Website, located at https://gardenda.com.

By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Gardenda if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

We employ the use of cookies. By accessing Gardenda, you agreed to use cookies in agreement with the Gardenda’s Privacy Policy.

Most interactive websites use cookies to let us retrieve the user’s details for each visit. Cookies are used by our website to enable the functionality of certain areas to make it easier for people visiting our website. Some of our affiliate/advertising partners may also use cookies.

Pricing and Availability

Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

Delivery costs will be charged in addition; such additional charges are clearly displayed where applicable and included in the ‘Total Cost’.


Payments Types Accepted: Cash on Delivery

We accept Cash on Delivery as a payment method. Instead of paying upfront, customers get to examine on-site, then pay for it once they deem the package fitting and satisfactory. You can then remits payment to the shipping company, who relays the payment back to us. Conversely, customers could also deny payment if the package is not up to your requirements.

The ‘Cash on Delivery’ payment term is usually discussed and agreed upon before finalization of the sale. When COD is the agreed upon payment terms, this means that the payment is collected at delivery, instead of before the products are shipped.

It is important to clarify that the payment must still be gathered before the handover of the products, preventing delivery in the case that payment is not provided.

Receive the wrong tree?

We are very careful to label all plant varieties properly and correctly. If your purchase is incorrectly labeled, we will replace your shipment at our expense. Please contact customer service and send us pictures of your incorrectly labeled products.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your plant order prior to shipment for a full refund. However, once we have notified you that the plant order has shipped you may no longer cancel it for a refund. To cancel a plant order email thegardenda@gmail.com. Please be sure to reference your order number.

Return Policy

We guarantee all Gardenda.com plants and products to be high quality, true to type, and properly shipped. If you are not 100% satisfied with the quality of your plant or any other orders, you may then refuse to take delivery of all or part of your order and contact us for a refund if you pay upfront. Refunds are given for plant quality issues such as damage in shipment, pest or disease infestation, or if the wrong plant was shipped.

As soon as a tree has been removed or planted from its original container, it can no longer be returned.

Refund Policy

We accept a full refund due to damage in shipment, pest or disease infestation, or if the wrong plant was shipped when you pay by credit card. If you pay in cash on delivery, you can refuse to take the plant.

Note: when you refuse to take delivery of all or part of your order, you do not need to request a refund because you only pay in cash for orders upon delivery.

To request a refund:

  • Please email thegardenda@gmail.com
  • In the subject line, enter “Gardenda Refund” and your order number, a picture to verify that your plant’s situation and provide an explanation of why you are not satisfied
  • Please allow us 48 hours to get back to you.

All refund requests must be made within 30 business days from shipment by us. Your refund request will be processed immediately. However, it may take 2-3 business days for it to display on your credit card statement. You can check the status of your refund on the order summary page. If your refund does not appear and the processing time for your payment method has passed, contact us for further assistance.

Exchange (if applicable)

We often only replace items if they are defective or damaged. However, If you need to exchange it for the other item because you’re not satisfied with the current one, please send us an email including your order number, a picture to verify the situation of the plant.

Our policy lasts 30 days.

  • It must also be in the original packaging.
  • Shipping costs of the item back to our warehouses will be paid by the customer.

Afterward, you would need to take your order to your preferred shipping company and from there follow their instructions.

Note: the exchange cost (different from the shipping cost) is 25% of your plant value.


We are proud of the accuracy of our shipping data (over 95% accuracy!) Of course external factors can delay these dates. As these are estimates, accurate shipping dates cannot be guaranteed.

The shipping fee is $35 per order. As a general matter, we will seek to ship spring orders after the last frost date. Your order will be shipped with a special colorful label and sticker with your name clearly visible.

  • In most case your order will be shipped in 2- 3 business days during business days.
  • Delivery normally takes 5 – 35 business days.

Box arrived damaged

Gardenda guarantees that your order will be carefully packed and shipped to ensure its survival during transport. Therefore, it is extremely rare for packages to be broken or damaged during transport. However, if you have received a damaged package, please refuse the shipment! Delivery service will return the damaged box to us for reshipment.

Container Sizes

The trees and plants with the listed container sizes refer to the trade gallon customary in the industry. These sizes are smaller than standard gallon sizes, and some plants can be re-potted, pruned or tidied up before shipment.


To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all representations, warranties and conditions relating to our website and the use of this website. Nothing in this disclaimer will:

  • limit or exclude our or your liability for death or personal injury;
  • limit or exclude our or your liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • limit any of our or your liabilities in any way that is not permitted under applicable law; or
  • exclude any of our or your liabilities that may not be excluded under applicable law.

The limitations and prohibitions of liability set in this Section and elsewhere in this disclaimer: (a) are subject to the preceding paragraph; and (b) govern all liabilities arising under the disclaimer, including liabilities arising in contract, in tort and for breach of statutory duty.

As long as the website and the information and services on the website are provided free of charge, we will not be liable for any loss or damage of any nature.
